Confirmation Hearing – James Biery to the Securities Commission.

SB 1329 (White) – Updates the Pennsylvania Life and Health Insurance Guaranty Association Act (PLHIGA).

SR 340 (White) – Encourages Congress to reinstate the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program.

SB 594 (McIlhinney)  – Fairness in Copayment Act – Provides fairness for persons seeking appropriation and necessary medical care who are sharing the cost of care by limiting copayments and coinsurances for nonphysician services to not more than the cost of the copayment or coinsurance for an insured’s primary care physician office visit.

Amendment A06599 – Changes to Fairness in Cost Sharing Act and will alter the bill to provide fairness for persons seeking appropriate and necessary physical therapy, chiropractic and occupational therapy care who are sharing the cost of the care pursuant to a health insurance policy.
